Rains and Dry Seasons. The Ancestral Vision of Time at the Altepepialcalli Regional Museum, Milpa Alta

The Altepepialcalli Regional Museum in Milpa Alta hosted the exhibition Rains and Dry Seasons. The Ancestral Vision of Time in Milpa Alta, a proposal by Casa Gallina in collaboration with Calpulli Tecalco that brought together art, science, and community knowledge. Artist Melissa Paredes presented a collective work nourished by workshops with children and adolescents from the Fernando Benítez / In Cualli Ohtli book club, in San Pedro Atocpan. Through this creation and the contributions of biologist Héctor Celedón Muñiz, the exhibition offered a sensitive look at the relationship between territory, biodiversity, and the Nahua worldview, reminding us of the vital importance of Milpa Alta for Mexico City.
